#62 Mindful Moment - An awesome customer service call
#62 - an awesome customer service call It's never a great moment when there's a need to call or chat with customer support. Often we are confused or frustrated, and the folks on the other end are tired. It has all the ingredients of a no-bueno stew. It's a moment that calls for mindfulness - especially as it relates to the energy we wish to ripple at the start of the call. I'll be the first to say that beginning the call with kindness doesn't guarantee a perfect outcome, but it sure feels better. If you know...
#63 Everyday Mindful Moment - The Moon
#63 - The MoonGrowing up, I wanted to be an astronaut, although I wasn't into Star Trek. I just wanted to go to the Moon like Neil Armstrong, wear my little red sweatshirt covered in NASA patches, and go to the planetarium. When I looked up at the sky, all my worries seemed so much smaller at night. This week you might have seen the latest supermoon. It might have felt like you could have grabbed it and pulled it toward you. It was stunning, and the next one is on August 1st. As you know, I didn't become an astronaut,...

The Declaration of Independence isn't perfect, but every project has a moment when it's time to put "pencils or quill pens down." I'm sure Franklin or that pesky Hamilton - who never signed it - had some edits for TJ, but sooner or later,...
#66 and #65 - Mindful Moments - pamplemouse
We are a family of travelers, although that wasn't always the case for me. Yes, we took family vacays to Disney, New England, and Amish Country and had a few trips to Toronto, but I didn't have a passport when we married. For the record, my wife added pages to hers. Going away is about discovery and adventure, but as much fun as it is to travel, I love coming home. During my abbreviated ride across New York State, I had to pack light, so I left most of my toiletries at home. Actually, this is typically the case as I tend...
