your scars are beautiful

community, connection, Kintsugi -

your scars are beautiful

At this time last year, I was feeling disconnected. After four years of pandemic living, I was exhausted. So, when 2023 began, I returned to what energizes me: connection. It became my word for the year.

As I Pause Breathe Reflect on 2023, I'm proud of how I've leaned into connection and restarted my Kintsugi Podcast.

Kintsugi is a Japanese art form that takes broken pottery and reconnects it. Its philosophy celebrates our imperfections and sees our scars as golden symbols of strength.

We all have some kintsugi in us. It's a golden thread that weaves together all our stories. It's a belief that our scars are beautiful.

If you haven't checked out Kintsugi, I hope you will in 2024. Each week, I sit down with a like-hearted human to hear their story of connection. On Fridays, I share a meditation to support your equanimity.

This week's Story of Connection is with Erica Diamond. She shares her journey from burnout to bliss and her four-step process. Tomorrow, I share a meditation that will help you reflect on 2023.  Click here to listen.
And to keep our theme of connection going, into 2024, I plan to bring back our group coaching program that was paused during the pandemic. If you want to learn more about it, please contact us here.

Additionally, I'm hosting a 1/2 day silent retreat on Jan 6th to help us start the year thoughtfully. I hope you will join us. You can discover more about it by clicking here.

Thank you for the connection this year. It's more meaningful than I can express.
