Glad We're Connected
Nearly 21 years ago, I was several weeks into my "healing journey" when my medical team came into my hospital room to do rounds. When they left, I said, "They're like my medical peloton helping me get down the road."
Back then, unless you were a cyclist, you probably weren't familiar with the term peloton, but it's part of today's lexicon. It's always been my metaphor for squad, team, or the often misappropriated use of tribe. (btw, I got a love letter from that other peloton - I'll tell you about it during the ride. Ah, bless their hearts).
I dip my back wheel into the Pacific Tuesday morning in Astoria, Oregon, but I won't be pedaling alone. Yes, you're coming with me. We will be riding together because we're in the same peloton. But don't worry, you don't need to pedal.
If you wish to follow my ride, you can do so by:
Two final things, since this is this last regular post for a bit, tomorrow is the last day to join our Ripple Challenge™ and if you wish to get my Better Life Workbook, which includes an exercise on building your peloton, click BLW.
